“My decisions on these matters will continue to be guided entirely by what I believe is in the best interest of the institution and the people we serve after my term as chair ends on May 15, and will continue to serve as a governor for a period of time to be determined,” he added.

Powell is a douche. Technically he’s correct that his 14 year term doesn’t end until 2028, he’s going to remain a governor and vote against trumps nomination. They really need to find a way to get this guy and a few others gone.

I don't mind him hanging around as a governor and not the chair.

I want him to get with the program. He's stuck in time and Trump has drastically changed the economy.

Investments would pour inif he would grasp this is the era of Reagan.
