It's not like I go around beating my chest that I was a college athlete. I've only let it be known a few times. I wasn't even any good. I was just a walk on who got to play in mop up time, and even then all we would do was run the ball up the middle. They called one pass play during my entire time I was there, and it got thrown to my fellow walk on buddy who scored a TD on it.

I don't want to be that "guy" who was simply a meaningless walk on who didn't play meaningful snaps and act like I was a huge contributor and star player. Because I have former walk on teammates who were no different than me who do that and it makes me cringe. So I just downplay it.
When we were at Disneyland for the Rose Bowl and I and some teammates(who were starters and the actual star players) were in line for Thunder Mountain Railroad and some bystander asked me if we played for TCU. I pointed to my teammates and said "they do" and one of my teammates gave me a hard lecture about how just because I don't play doesn't mean I am not a part of the team, and that I am just as much a part of the team as everyone else.
