How does some creep think he or she will get my vote by sending me texts I never asked for or signed up for?

I've assumed that every single text is from a Czech phishing scam.

The majority of these are from leftist groups regardless of where the links take you.

This is exactly why the spamming comes from leftist groups, to piss off the conservative base and make those candidates appear desperate.
The lefties have tech locked up (except for Elon) so that's why you see so much of it around election time.
That's not to say conservative candidates don't seek donations or support via text, but these spam texts that you get multiple times per day are not legit.

If it's for a campaign of someone I disagree with, I usually respond and drag it out with the weirdest text chain I can. I figure any time I'm wasting of theirs is less time they get to campaign for whatever. And it's entertaining for me. I had this one girl convinced I raised worms for a living and wanted to see how progressive politics would help me as a worm farmer. It actually lasted a while.
