They are out of control. It is ridiculous the amount of messages being received from all different phone numbers. This doesn’t make me want to vote for any candidate.

I'm lucky and don't get those.
If I ever do I'll troll them so they quit sending.

Did you get the one from Trump asking you to vote for Letlow?
If I was the one running the operation, I would have done better to put the message from a 202 number instead of a 504 number. That way the recipient has a slight idea knowing that it might be Trump actually sending the message instead of a political firm.

I tried that. Said the person had died, tried using vulgar language, it worked for a while but they start back up again.

I’m usually not one to boast, but JD and I are on first name basis with each other

I get one a week for Hallie Shoffner for Senate 2026 against Tom Cotton. It always talks about farmers. I have a better change of beating Cotton.

I was getting 5 or more daily. I tried the block and report spam to no avail. I tried block only to no avail. I tried to ignore and nope, didn’t work.
Finally I started replying with this and I am now down to 1 a day and some days with none.
“frick off you grifting bastard. Every spam text is one less vote from me. I will mandate my rep outlaw pol spam texts or they will not get my vote. You frickers are invading my privacy daily. You are costing votes a-hole. I am making it my mission to tell all my voter friends to boycott all spammers at election time. We are tired of grifting and no action. frick you”
Note: This only works if you actually vote. They have all voting records and know who votes and how many times including even local issues. I have rarely missed a vote and they all have access to those public records. They know which party you are registered to and when you vote but not who you voted for.

Go to your supervisor of elections website and see if you can take your phone number off . Voters info is public record and candidates will request it from the Supervisor of election . Atleast that hoe we got the info here in Florida .

Letlow is being forced on us. They are milking Trump's endorsement like I've never seen.

Get at least 50 a day. Have no idea how to stop them.

Political text messages totally suck and I agree, they make me want to vote for whichever candidate didn't inundate my phone with texts.
Supposedly, the "No Call" list was supposed to head off telemarketers and unsolicited texts (we all know that was a fricking failure - or a lie - by our federal government), but political calls and texting were specifically excluded from that legislation at the very outset. That tells you a lot about our government and our "public servants."
The thing that totally pissed me off is receiving a text message with a Dallas, TX area code telling me who the best candidate is in a Georgia state election. You can frick right off with coming in from another state to tell me how I should vote in mine. Even if the candidate being suggested is the one I preferred anyway.
Sorry. I know this wasn't a very Christian-like response, but I have had it up to my eyeballs with the ceaseless unsolicited texts for political purposes.
