MACON, Ga. — Leaders around Central Georgia are encouraging everyone to exercise their right to vote.
This Saturday, there will be a motorcade with police escorting people to the polls. Lineup will begin at 11 a.m. at the Martin Whitley Educational Complex and end at Elaine H. Lucas Senior Center where people can cast their ballots. Afterwards, everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy Mercer's early voting pep rally at Central City Park where there will be dozens of gifts and prizes.

Minister Dominique Nichols says this event is about the future. "This tugs right here because I'm thinking about, as an African American man, I'm thinking about my ancestors who fought for the right to vote for people like me and minorities, but also I'm thinking about the future," Nichols said.

“Lineup” will be a pro-Biden event and they’re straight up buying votes afterwards. Taxpayers should be engraved too about the escort.

Will they be riding on a white bus to a gated community afterward?

I’m pretty sure that’s illegal.

Good, the police will be there to stop it. bang head

Edit: Funny thing is all police jurisdiction in Macon-Bibb Co. belongs to the Sheriff, a Dem, who is being challenged this time. So, he’s using police manpower to most assuredly help his cause

Can't think of a better scenario for making mass arrests for outstanding warrants etc.

when I volunteered in Ohio for Romney in 2012, we SAW the busses in Cincinnati and Columbus that ran through the poor neighborhoods and brought people to the polls.

In one month, I probably convinced 100 people to vote Republican and/or talked a Republican into making it to the polls.

It took only 2-3 busloads to wipe out that effort, and negate my work. Obama won by 2%.

Sheriff providing the protection needs their votes. In the words of Doyle Hargraves, “the law’s on their side” in this one.
