Hey. Nothing wrong with liking young blonde men with accents if that's your thing.
I don't think PewdiePie is political. He is only attacking the media because the Wall Street Journal decided to write a hit piece on him (calling him a Nazi for no reason). And he isn't even American so I don't think he gives two shits about what goes on here.
He is basically a video gamer who got big on YT. After his channel got big, he moved onto comedy skits and what not. I don't particularly find him funny, but I know the millennials love him.

Really good explanation.
There is no excuse for what the Wall Street Journal did in this case. This was a simple hatchet job on PDP.
I had thought the WSJ was better than this. They can continue to do things like this without my subscription money.

I don't see this as a "political" issue.
This goes to the question of MSM news credibility. In the post above yours, the viewer count of PDP's video is at 4.6M in a single day. That 4.6M people who were shown pretty clear evidence that PDP got screwed by the media.
Absolute best case scenario? 4.6M have a shadow of doubt every time they read something in a newspaper / web-article. Worst case scenario? Some of them are utterly lost to certain outlets for a long time, if not forever.
It was completely unnecessary, too. The WSJ could have published a balanced, interesting article on whether coarse humor online leads to hatred/bigotry. They could have avoided the histrionic tone and accusations.
That would make this whole episode a difference of opinion, opposed to the WSJ scrambling for the high ground. That did not happen, and 4.6M watched a video where one of the journalists claiming the high ground is making jokes about "the jews."

WSJ has been failing for a while, they really reached too far to try and get some hits with this story lol. What a joke the WSj is

I was never into PewDiePie's videos but after all of this shite I'm subscribing just on principle.
