I love how Trump is the first President to stand up to the Globalist Elites and fight for the American citizen since John F. Kennedy! America First!!

"The words from Peter Navarro will come as no surprise to any CTH reader who is fully engaged and reviewing the multi-trillion stakes, within the Globalist (Wall St.) -vs- Nationalist (Main Street) confrontation.

For several decades Wall Street, through lobbying arms such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (Tom Donohue), has structurally opposed Main Street economic policy in order to inflate profits and hold power – “The Big Club”. This manipulative intent is really the epicenter of the corruption within the DC swamp.

U.S. National Trade Council Director Peter Navarro discusses how Wall Street bankers and hedge-fund managers are attempting to influence U.S.-China trade talks. He speaks at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C."

IB Freeman reads to many globalist economic text books. He was taught lies. I kind of feel bad for the guy because he is too stupid to realize he was duped.

What the hell is CTH please. Why can't you just write it out the first time you mention it so we don't all have to guess or sit on the forum all day to keep up with abbreviations. Thanks

Why can't dem supporters realize this pres is for the middle class? Unlike the candidates they worship who make policies for the rich or to keep them poor.

I feel like whoever wrote this has been transported back to 1980 and are being influenced by a guy named Ted Kennedy.

Let’s hope powerful people are trying to influence US China trade talks to end Navarro and Ross’s protectionism for their steel friends.

Here I am a “main street” manufacturer telling you the obvious about the impact of this trade war and you knuckle draggers literally want to kill me for treason.

You people are nuts and your ideas about what is right and wrong for America is very twisted.

Every economics class will teach you the same basic things, and that is this protectionist policy is bad economics.

It will also teach you that Keynes was a demi-God and Hayek and Von Mises were idiots. Right after teaching you that guns are evil and global warming is a thing.

You're a main street idiot. We import 90% (or did until recently) of our materials from China, "made in china" put food on my table but I am amazed at how quickly domestic manufacturing has bounced back. It's like we never had to allow ourselves to become dependent on them at all...

Who knew?

oh, yea, Trump knew...

Followed the link. We kept conservative Tree House.

It is entertaining, however, the way most people simply assume that every reader of this forum is familiar with all the same acronyms as the poster himself.

It hasn't.

Protected industries have, but the tariffs haven't improved prospects for anyone else.
