What's your opinion on the very well qualified Lloyd Austin, Mark Esper, Les Aspin, Panetta, Hagel, Rumsfeld, and Cheney? Mattis and Gates were well qualified, the rest of them arguably less so (Rumsfeld and Cheney were at least qualified, they just said or did dumb things.)
