People jabbed with PLACEBOS during vaccine trials will have same privileges as those who are ‘fully’ vaxxed

quote:

The UK government views people who were given placebos during Covid-19 vaccine trials as fully inoculated, Britain’s vaccines minister has said, adding that they would enjoy all the privileges granted by the NHS Covid Pass.

If you think really, really hard about this, you’ll realize why.

Absolutely, but it still beats the whole purpose.

And if you have a working effective vaccine, who the frick cares.

There’s not a good clinical reason.

Yes there is.

There’d be no way to do an assessment down the line if the placebo group ran out and got vaccinated.

They are probably still evaluating ongoing side effects.

I wonder how many of the placebo group died shortly after the jab?

There’s a clinical reason for the trial (supposedly). Though you and I both know that the vaccines could kill 1 out of 1000 and we’d be stuck with them still.

There’s not a clinical reason for allowing them to run around vaccineless and potentially infect the world while we give them the privilege of a vaccine passport.

No, of course not, it’s a moral reason. They signed up for the trial and cannot get vaccinated as a participant in a placebo group.

They are doing something good and shouldn’t be penalized for it.

The debate as to whether or not vaccine passports should exist is a different discussion (they shouldnt), but this thread is retarded. Who gives a frick if you don’t think passports should exist anyway?

It’s a penalty to not get a vaccine passport?

I thought it was a health necessity to keep unvaccinated from killing everyone.

It is another example of a double-standard. If it wasn’t for double standards around this virus, there wouldn’t be any standards.

Passports are retarded. Different discussion entirely. OP is using it as an opportunity to parallel effectiveness of the vaccine with a placebo instead of paralleling effectiveness of a passport with no passport.

Guess it depends if they're including the decapitated in auto accidents and the like, following the covid death accounting model.

Sounds like trials are still underway. Shouldn’t be telling people to get the shot using pressure or force until all aspects of the trial is complete, short and long term

I have a friend that was part of a trial for a vax that is not yet approved in the US. He said both him and is wife got 2 jabs in November, but didn't know if they were in the control or not. After they were eligible based on Louisiana's priority, they got 2 jabs gain. If they were originally vaxxed in November, then they got placebo. If they were placebos in November, then they got vaxxed. My question here is how do we get true long term results since there's no longer a control group.

Completely agree with exception you shouldn’t be using force or coercion, ever, even after trials are completed.

It’s wrong no matter how safe and effective a vaccine is or isn’t.
