So who would DeSantis choose? He applauded Pence for saying Trump is a Putin apologist.
DeSantis is very aware, that he isnt sitting in that Governor's seat without Pres. Trump.

Mickey - u know I love ya . . .
But I loathe this sort of assertion that someone who continues a family business to even greater success, isn’t self made - or there is something wrong with it.
Most children of wealthy parents that I grew up with fall into 2 categories: they squandered it and never worked and honest day in their lives and ended up broke or in rehab or both; or they picked up where dad left off and worked their asses off to continue or increase the success of the existing business.
For the second category of people, they took what they had a baseline and made it better. By any stretch of the imagination - that is a success and an achievement. Would have been no different than if they went to work for someone else, and then ended up owning the business.
Our parents help us in many ways. Sometimes they pay for our college education. Sometimes they give us our first job. Sometimes they just give advice and guidance. My dad owned and sold a business, and it is a point of pride for him that he can leave me and my siblings in a better place financially than his parents left him. It was one of the only reasons he worked as hard as he did. That kind of remark is a thinly veiled and undeserved insult to the candidate, and his parents, and mine. You should take it back.

Imagine thinking this is a negative.

I'd have been much more impressed if he got a liberal arts degree, dyed his hair purple, and become a community organizer

Pence is their puppet. He’s in this for a paycheck.

yep.
Todays CPAC Straw poll is due.
I saw that last time Trump was number one and then when a second fomat w/o Trump was introed. Don Trump Jr. won.
I have a feeling Don Trump Jr. will be the nominee and the GOPe Turtle caucus can suck an egg.

So no one’s buying the devolution theory that Pence is playing heel to energize the MAGA contingency against his picks?

Pence is in a bad spot professionally. What can he do in govt? He may very well be on the take for several reasons.
Running for President and taking some cheap shots at Pres Trump and also getting distance from Trump as they become enemies, makes the most sense for him.
The Globalists cant afford to allow Trump to run. They are going to try to jail him so why wouldnt they buy off Pence just in case. Its a win-win. Pence could possibly win it with their shenanigans, if Trump is out of the picture.
