All of that aside, it's still a money loser. 1/7 is a lot to give up. You'll never make that back.

Check the numbers bud. Chick-fil-A does really well.

You're basically saying more is automatically better and theres no chance it's not better.

So now they're good to go? No more crying about them? Just dont donate to any charities and were good?

I've always eaten there. I'm not going to let someone's ignorance get in the way of my enjoyment of a good arse chicken sandwich.

Besides, I've been 100% consistent in saying that boycotts are stupid. I think their politics and beliefs are based in ignorance, but I also don't spend my money based on politics and beliefs.

You're barking up the wrong tree with your bullshite, sport.

No, I'm saying that it is a money loser. It is. Money doesn't have to be the only thing that matters.

This is correct. At the very least, you’re basically dividing your fixed costs by ~310 instead of 360 (counting 5 closed holidays, +2 of which may fall on a Sunday any given year, and Easter that absolutely will be on Sunday). That, and the undeniable truth that Sunday>Tuesday for retail and restaurant operations. Sunday was selected because it is treated as the Sabbath in most Christian traditions, not for a legitimate business reason.

I’m a little dumbfounded that anybody would attempt to argue differently. The vast majority of restaurants that close one day a week do so on a Monday for sound business reasons, and CFA would make a killing on Sundays.
