That is the target audience for this COSPLAY agitprop. The only purpose of these displays is to frighten & convince ignorant and easily duped Karens that Trump’s supporters are violent racists who seek to transform this country into the 4th Reich.
We have several on this very board who are convinced these clown-shows are real. Sadly, a few of them actually proclaim to “true” conservatives.

Are there any other options or is it like everything else politically where I only get two shitty choices and the two shitty choices here are the ones you’ve laid out?

Other options* certainly are theoretically possible yet I don’t have my hopes up. As it stands, any vote in this UniParty® charade is ultimately a vote for the left or right wing of the Deep State.
It appears the entrenched bipartisan reigning regime is hellbent on retaining their death-grip on power whatever the costs: they seem to have no qualms about seeing civil society unravel or tripwiring WWIII to maintain the status quo. We can thus expect things to get much, much worse before they get better.
With that said, some degree of populist pushback is the very best outcome we can hope for in this wholly corrupted political environment. Such pushback is going to come from the Bernie Bro Left or the MAGA right, so choice accordingly.
