Post-racial America folks.
Libs are really doubling down on race.
It's the old playbook in full bloom.

They were portraying one moment in history, one small, two-second moment in history. It may not be appropriate but it happened,” Ms. Lake said
So did the holocaust but second graders don't do plays about putting Jews in ovens.

The worst part was the excuse given. They said that she volunteered for the part when another student could not remember the lines and follow direction. Since she is the only white girl in the class, do you think that I am to believe that the role of a white supremacist was originally given to a black child that was too stupid to remember the line “go home”?
Then they went on to say they were re-enacting a 2-minute part of history that did happen so they justify it. It took less than 2-minutes to hang a black person in history too. Would they be OK if white students re-enacted that part using the only black student in the class?
The liberal teachers and administrators are out of their damn minds. I feel sorry for white parents who cannot afford to remove their kids from almost all black schools.

In the video there is a black student holding a sign that says "Go Back to Africa." Clearly the topic seems a bit inappropriate for young children, but it seems some black children were also cast in a "racist role."
But I find it interesting that the parents pulled their kids out of the school for this, while they let their kids attend a school that has proficiency ratings around 15% for all subjects compared to the state averages around 35-40%.

Because you cannot just pull kids out of a public school and put them in another with the district’s permission. They received permission after this. Not everyone can afford to put their kids in private schools.

Public School Choice Framework

Parents of K-12 public school students in Georgia have the option to enroll their child in any school within the local school district in which they now reside.

A parent/guardian can elect to send a child to another public school in the same district as long as there is classroom space available at the school after its assigned students have been enrolled;

Parents, please get your children out of the public school farm system.

They have that in our school district too. The school cannot be at a certain capacity level and parents have to provide transportation. Most working parents cannot bring their kids to school and drop them off everyday. There’s your answer. And I bet you don’t have kids.

I just called Betsy Devos. She's on it.

I mean...if she’s the only white person in her class...wouldn’t it make sense to cast her as the white segregationist? I mean, wouldn’t it be kinda weird for her to play Vivian Malone and have some black kid pretending to be George Wallace?

Douglas County School Rankings
Here are their rankings:
CCRP--Broad Measure of Performance (2017)
State Average--73.9
District Average--70.6
2nd Lowest School--57.6
Burnett Elementary--53.1
Achievement Points
State Average--Not Available
District Average--30.6
2nd Lowest School--22.7
Burnett Elementary--19.3
So these parents:
--Know there is a play.
--Don't think their children will be in the play.
--Yet, still care enough to put aside whatever they would have been doing so they can attend it on time.
--AND even videotape a play of children who are not their own since they didn't know their own child would be in it.
Yet they somehow
--They somehow didn't know what this play they set aside their plans to attend is about.
--Despite setting their plans aside to attend, somehow didn't find out their own child was in it.
Then afterwards
--They complained about not knowing their child was in it.
--Complained about their child's role
--Complained about not giving permission for her to be in it.
--Complained about not giving permission that their child to be photographed and/or have video taken.
After they complained
--The teacher explained how the situation transpired-
--The teacher apologized for offending them
--The teacher thanked them for making her aware of her mistake
But after the teacher's explanation
--They pulled their kids from the school.
--Went to the news station.
--AND THEY PROVIDED A VIDEO OF HER OWN CHILD AND A BUNCH OF OTHER CHILDREN THAT IS NOW IN THE NATIONAL NEWS EVEN THOUGH THEY COMPLAINED ABOUT NOT GIVING CONSENT TO HAVE THEIR CHILD PHOTOGRAPHED OR VIDEOTAPED.

This is what you choose to focus on instead of a school that is putting on a racist play for 7 year olds? Interesting.

But he had to put aside his daughter for a few seconds so he could tweet some laughing emojis about some goofy video a minute before. Although he did wait a few minutes to respond to a Trump tweet asking him if he was out of his mind.
I don’t know about you. But if I was upset about something, the first thing I would do is watch and respond to a funny video and then immediately tweet some famous person to try to get him talk about it with me.

I mean. Does his outrage require his attention at all times? It's a strange criticism.
What does the parents outrage level and your approval of it have to do with the appropriateness of the play?

It's a ghetto school whose principal got her "education" from Walden University. I wonder how many of students are originally from metro Atlanta, or did their parent move them from Noo Yoke or somewhere else. The principal did.
Truth is, this culture of perpetual victimization is intentional. It's aimed at blaming others rather than self-reflection. It was likely an intentional action by teacher Jamila James, whose school profile is here. Don't harass or contact her, but it's just to show that this WAS in fact a black teacher.
In her bio: "I love what I do. I've been educating youngsters since 1997!"
No Jamila, you're educating few. Only 15% of their students meet state averages for math & grammar. But let's make them feel good about themselves by planting the seeds of victimization, right?
The majority of metro Atlanta, particularly south of I-20 is an influx of those types who have driven down property values the past 20 years. If you're white & live in those areas, you're white trash.
