In the latest election survey, Nashville-based LifeWay Research found 98 percent of Protestant pastors in the U.S. say they plan to vote in the presidential election.

When they cast their ballot, 53 percent of pastors likely to vote say they plan to do so for Donald Trump. Around 1 in 5 (21 percent) say they are voting for Joe Biden. A similar percentage (22 percent) say they are still undecided. About 4 percent say they are voting for a different candidate.

A real pastor would never endorse a Democrat.

God doesn't support abortion.

Yup. The 20+ percent Biden voters are likely the queers and trannies trying to steer Christianity away from Christ.

The number is encouraging in that it's up from 32% in 2016

As to your point, the way the article uses "Protestant" includes a lot of liberal denominations, as well as African American pastors.

quote:

Among self-identified evangelical pastors, Trump’s support is similar to that of evangelicals across the country. Almost 7 in 10 evangelical pastors (68 percent) say they plan to vote for the president, compared to 20 percent of mainline pastors. In a recent LifeWay Research survey, 6 in 10 Americans who hold evangelical beliefs (61 percent) pick Trump over Biden (29 percent).

Among African American pastors, 61 percent choose Biden, while 6 percent say they plan to vote for Trump. Younger pastors, age 18 to 44, are the least likely age demographic to back the president for reelection (41 percent).

Denominationally, Pentecostal (70 percent) and Baptist pastors (67 percent) are more likely to vote for Trump than pastors in the Restorationist movement (49 percent), Lutherans (43 percent), Presbyterian/Reformed (24 percent) or Methodists (22 percent).

It should be 100 percent opposing Biden/Harris you'd think.

Sadly the Roman Catholic hierarchy and supporting organizations are also all in for Biden.

There's exceptions like Church Militant and Dr. Taylor Marshall who've exposed and detail daily the actions of the Catholic Conference of Bishops (and others) complicity in their decades long destruction of traditional Roman Catholicism and support of a Globalist Marxist agenda.

I met my first "undecided" voter right after the debate, but he's really a closet democrat. He don't want to talk about the dems supporting all the leftist crap. Just Trump is bad.

I honestly don't know how you could possibly be a Christian and a democrat.

Sounds like an indictment on western Christianity and how so many churches have let liberalism creep in.

I can understand many not wanting to vote for Trump but how can so many rationalize a vote for Biden? Insane.

Traditional Catholic Church: overbearing international superpower that enriched itself while preaching socialist doctrine like paying your taxes and being wealthy making it difficult to get into heaven.

I ‘m sure that guy longs for the days when the church could burn him at the steak as heretic for saying that
