Why doesn't he just say crime is up 5000% in Germany? He was already proven to have lied about it so why the 10% figure?

Now, as I and Gumbo agree with, stats are there to be manipulated and in my opinion, Trump and Cruisemelt are incorrect because they are cherry picking to satisfy their needs. Had either one laid out both sides of the coin, I'd applaud it. I don't think it's too much to expect that.

I have personally spoken to passers-through from Germany in the last couple weeks. They're interesting people and I've just always enjoyed welcoming tourists to the area. The overwhelming consensus amongst them is that their crime stats are drastically skewered. They seem hesitant to open up about it but when they do, they pretty much all agree that lax immigration policies have had an adverse affect on their country. Just sayin. Horse's mouth.

Using the term "true to power" was'/is an attempt to be slightly provocative. I gave up using rational arguments to engage people in political discussion. I've learned from the left that you have to engage people emotionally then rationally to carry persuasion through. Sometimes it only takes a minute. Most of the time it takes months or even years (or never). The left in general starts with emotional arguments (see the current immigration debate) and generally does not follow up with rational arguments. Thus the reason the Democrat party has to lie ("if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor") or import more and more uneducated voters to support their arguments to retain power.
