Los Angeles county has a registration rate of 112% its adult population
The entire state of California has a registration rate of 101%
11 of 58 counties in CA have registration rates above 100%
Is this why California is solid Blue?

Hell, I'm in my 40's and have had to show my id since I was 18 to vote here. I never saw it as an issue.

Because the 2nd Amendment is what guarantees freedom and NULLIFIES any possibility of Democratic ("Mob Rule") tyrannical, governance.
It is enough that the smart and productive people already have an economic edge, but when they also have sufficient weaponry which can challenge and defeat a tyrannical State....well...smart and productive people keep their freedom and hard-earned prosperity.
Of course, "man does not live by bread alone". Or toys. Another argument altogether.
