How many patients did the New Orleans river front house? Maybe they realized that it was a complete waste of resources.

The places that have had these huge outbreaks have conservative leaders who are not asking for these ships and things. Do you think Desantis is going to ask Biden for help dealing with the crisis in Florida for example? The places where the boats went like NY are kinda okay right now so no need for the ships and centers.

When you kill off a huge portion of your most vulnerable population, you tend to reduce your chances of future outbreaks.
Does that mean that other states need to be killing old folks en masse too?

The mayors of Baton Rouge and New Orleans are both Democrats. So is the governor of Louisiana.

We spent so much money last time and I think the NOLA convention center had 1,000 beds and admitted like 60 patients.
Plus... who is going to staff it? All the hospitals are desperate for workers. And you know any government run temp facility is going to require vaccinated workers.

Oh, I blame JBE for plenty of things. And yes he should request his pal in DC help our hospitals in whatever way they can. But they are both clueless political hacks, not a lick of common sense to be seen between them.
