Trust the science. But only the science you are told today. Not previous science. And maybe not even the science of today because future science may change today’s science.

I really think these "scientists/doctors/researchers" take these high level positions thinking they can do good, but quickly realize some political moron is pulling the strings.
Her impending doom speech seemed like a bad acting job. I dont know how one could look at the numbers especially outside the Northeast and then act like everybody is going to die. Unless someone told her to be that way.
She speaks the truth that vaccinated people dont carry Covid. Oops, hand slapped.
She is smart and covered her arse in the travel guidelines. Says travel is safe but we don't recommend it.
Fauchi is as swamp as swamp gets, but he had a weak moment and spoke the truth when he said masks were largely superficial. No why because all the studies after SARS1 said so. Google it, you have to go about 20 pages deep.
What do you do, wait about 2 months and then say we have to wear masks.

Here's the thing. The really smart people at the cdc are in the basement working. They don't have the time, energy, or quite frankly the talent to get "in power".
The guy who invented the ziploc bag had a workbench across from an old professor of mine..... Which was his first job out of school. Think about that for a second.
That's not new either. Oppenheimer was arguably the dumbest guy in the room but he was "in charge" of the Manhattan project because he grew up well and could speak to the suits.
Only problem now is we pay more attention to the idiots instead of the people doing the real work.

I give Oppenheimer a break. Watching him in interviews, he’s clearly burdened that he may be partially responsible for the eventual destruction of the planet. That quote even though he himself didn’t write it might be the most iconic of the 20th century.
