First try to explain it for a 4th grader to understand it. Otherwise it's just nerding out, and not something most will understand.

Basically Qubits can be 1 or 0.

They can be both states, which speeds up processing tremendously.

So,it's not 0,1.....it's 0,1 1,0 1,1 and 00 simultaneously?

We should hook up that Willow chip to the Chinese AI program, run out of the room and then see what happens.

When it stops, just like the magnets it's in either up, down, or up/down, but the state they stop in is dependent on all the other qubits.

It's like each iron filaments in the gif, it winds up in a position, but that position is dependent on where all the other filaments are.

So in the end it settles on something, but that thing is set based on the combined states of the system.

Now, if I could just apply quantum theory to my life. I could be in two different states at one time. I could be at work and at the beach at the same time and be with my wife and girlfriend at the same time. It might be confusing but I am willing to give it a shot.

Unbeknownst to you what you described is actually happening to you.

Think of quantum computing like titties being released from a bra. Instead of each cell and tissue falling into position one at a time like a traditional computer, the entire breast instantly falls into the most desired and lowest energy placement.

This actually makes sense and allows me to comprehend something that I haven't been able to comprehend..

Now to test and see if what I learned is correct.

If there are 100 marbles in a jar, and you want to move them to a different jar, a traditional computer would move them 1 at a time. However, using quantum computing, they all move at the same time.

The process is faster, more efficient, and allows the user to not only see the entire breast fall into place, but they can also touch them at the same time.

Imperfect Example, If I had 100 degrees of temperature, 100 blocks, and 20 materials, a classical way would be to calculate each of the blocks one at a time (or 100 separate calculations on a gpu) and then sum the resulting temperatures as a final step. A quantum equivalent, I would form a calculation with the 3 degrees of freedom and calculate it in one shot, the qubits would snap to lowest power, and then I would take those values and use them for the answer.

I should’ve studied more.
