Besides your "hahahahahahaha" posts, which are use littered with insults, I don't take you for the joking type--at least your Internet persona.

I agree, Leonard. His internet persona is to call people names all the time, not just some of the time like the rest of us. Seriously though, what you say is true of his persona.

I think in a them of unity, Trump, in his inaugural address should call each out by name and identify them as the problem that currently plagues our nation; self interest before national interest. No more than 4 minutes.

I'll volunteer to write the text.

Or he can ignore them. They want attention; it's not worth his time giving it to them.

That would be the worst idea ever. Everyone behind Trump would be shaking their head if not leaving over that. Just ignore them.

On a slight submenued subject of this threads convo...

Has anybody answered yet why the media hyped up HRC winning TX and GA for weeks? (And then we find out Obamas DHS hacked Georgia's SOS election computers) The media refused to call GA till way later saying they were waiting on "something." What were they waiting for? Enough voters/illegals? rolled in by bus in ATL to turn it for HRC? What else could it be?

Georgia made no sense, but Texas was a state where the demographics indicated she would outperform Obama. And she did by a lot.

That said, Nate Silver pointed out that this was one of the reasons should had a better chance of winning the popular vote but losing the EC. The demographics were enough to make gains, but not enough to flip those states.

It was fools gold, and they fell for it by focus their resources in those states rather than defending the Midwest.

I'm not a member of the House and I'm not a Democrat. I have attended two inaugurations and watched every other one since I was a small child though. I'll be sitting this one out, as will my wife who is a veteran.

Is it weird that I'm 30, and I don't think I've ever watched an Inauguration?

Dammed, every time I try to slip a little satire in, I get reprimanded...just kidding guys.

I just thought it would entertain the board. You're right, if he did it CNN would be 24-7 on this for the next 4-8 yrs.

But I would like to see him slip some type of one-liner in on their absence...sort of an open ended statement to the crowd.

"Great to see so many thousands of fellow American Patriots gathered here today. A day which represents a peaceful transition of leadership in our United States of America for the 45th time in our 240 yr. history as a democratic republic. The greatest nation that has existed in world history. My only regret is that all Americans cannot be here to share this with us today, even for the few here in Washington D.C. that have the freedom to chose not to be here. I respect their choice and 'Hail the United States of America'"!

Would that be too much you think??

At the rate in which they are losing House seats, this may be their last opportunity to attend an inauguration.

It looks bleak, but it looked even bleaker for the R's 8 years ago. Politics is a very fluid dynamic.

I dunno their bench is weak and leadership is old

They might have a shot if they get behind a guy like Tim Ryan or manchin

This progressiveism is a losing proposition but they're dumb
