I don't know, but it probably hasn't been different since 1963. AIPAC itself is supposed to be registered as a foreign lobbyist with FARA, but after Kennedy was killed suddenly they just changed their name to AIPAC and they didn't have to anymore.

How is it that he self-funded his 2016 presidential run? You'd think if he was bought and paid for, those people would have donated lots of money to get him elected.

So you like supporting scumbags?

Massie seems like a pretty good person to me, that's why I like him. I'm betting you didn't watch the movie.

One thing about Trump - you can start a thread saying something good about him and all the scumbag TDS sufferers come out like roaches when you turn off the lights.

never ever fails

I like supporting people who do what they say what they are going to do and Massie is not it.

Funny how nobody gave a flying frick about the deficit until Trump got re-elected and now all you jackasses are screaming about it.

And what’s funny about it, you clowns act like another bill will never be made when the fact of the matter is that there are several bills coming up that only attacks our deficit - but you losers have so much TDS that you refuse to accept the truth about anything.

People like you are fake as frick and total losers.

You mean someone who can’t get elected? Listen, I get it and when I was younger like I’m assuming you are, I was on my platform bitching about left and right politics and praying for Ron Paul to get in office (who had to run as R to get any traction). I still can’t stand the pick a side nonsense we see today, but you bet your arse when it comes down to it I’m never going to vote for a demented politician like Hillary, Biden, or especially Harris. And next you’re likely to get even worse with Newscum or AOC. I mean, do you still want to shout from your soapbox about voting for a viable 3rd party candidate (of which there haven’t been any) or get someone who can win and not ruin the country at the same time? I agree the BBB is problematic in a few ways and I’d have much rather preferred a stand-alone bill to extend the tax cuts, but that’s not how this shite works. Putting your fingers in your ears and whining about Trump isn’t going to help and you can stand on your principles all you want, but it’s not winning. There’s a lot of shite he gets right, more than not this time around and I sure hope we have 3.5 more years of it plus 8 of Vance right behind him.

I'm not young.

If the person elected doesn't represent my values, I didn't win regardless.

I don't care why you vote for the lesser of 2 evils. What you are telling me is you are fine with the bar being set by liberals.

Have you ever run for any position in your life to make all the changes you’re so full of yourself being right about? Otherwise, you’re just a keyboard warrior who can criticize but have no clue what goes into it all.

How dare a voter think he knows what best for him! What does he think he is, a free man?

You're saying so yourself. All your arguments are based on how bad the democrats are. As such, the democrats are the ones who set the bar the republicans have to jump over to get your vote.

Thus the saying if you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything. At some point you have to stand on principles instead of letting the "other party" set your bar.

This is how we got John McCain and Mitt Romney. Watching MAGA tie full-bore GOPE is kinda proving his point for him.

I'm not MAGA in the cult sense. Didn't vote for him in 2016 or 2020 but did in 2024. The difference between Trump and those other losers you mentioned is Trump won. 3 times. I definitely didn't vote for McCain and Romney either. I was on a Libertarian kick for quite a few elections. Again, you guys can scream from the rooftops on your principles all you want, and believe me, I join in on lots of it. I really can't stand the mess left and right has gotten us into. At the same time, I'm not throwing the baby out with the bath water and so I knew how important Trump winning compared to Harris was. And I know elements of the BBB suck, but I also know other elements are what I wanted to see. Unfortunately, your principles aren't winning shite. What was honestly the alternative to Trump? And what will be better in the future? I've turned blue in the face wanting a legit 3rd party.
