Which is what? This sounds like a generic liberal call for more money, which will be used to support transgender foster care kids, etc. It'd be more effective to stick contraceptive implants into any junior high girl going to a school with a high reduced price/free lunch rate of enrollment until they were 25.

Eventually we have to promote the nuclear family. The demonization of the nuclear family has screwed up several generations.

I agree with that. But the kids in foster care can't help the situation they're in

1) What is a “young adult”?
I don’t doubt that 50% of the young people on the streets were either orphans or in foster care, just want the age criteria.
2) Explain the rest of the homeless, which in my experience, far outnumber “young adults”.
ETA: Portland, OR, is full of “young adult” homeless and has been for a couple of decades, at least. At one time it was also the “suicide Capital of USA”.

I think a new NGO is exactly what we need!

You guys love to bitch about things and then defend the status quo to the death

You are the one bitching about the foster care system.

If the net result is that it produces people that become homeless I'd say it needs improvement. That seems pretty obivous.

’d imagine that like 60% of homeless people are foster kids or veterans who had their minds scrambled. Another 10% you can thank the Sackler Family for.
The most important thing though is that we bitch incessantly about the homeless and never ask any questions about how they got there and never do anything to help mitigate the situation moving forward. The only responsible conservative thing to do is bitch about the status quo and then immediately defend the status quo. Any desire to help improve the situation makes you a communist.

Its hard enough to create good parents to take care of their own kids, so I would say your idea of creating good parents to take care of unwanted kids is unrealistic. Its just a reality we have to live with.

So just give up on making anything better? Why do you have such a defeatist attitude?

Agreed
To me if you're not willing to invest in improving the system then you have no legitimate reason to bitch about the homeless problem

In other words, its called being realistic.
If a fix isnt possible, which is the case here, then you must accept the sad reality of the situation.

I reject the idea that a fix isn't possible
And I fully acknowledge that you're just a low IQ misanthrope with little value to society

Its okay to be an unrealistic person. There isnt anything I can do to make you accept reality.

By the way when I say "fix" I mean improve
I'm not under any delusion that we will completely eliminate homelessness. But if we can significantly reduce it moving forward then that would be a worthwhile investment. Unless you think having more homeless people is awesome.

Child predators run rampant in these types of scenarios, the pedophiles need tombe delt with before any funds are allocated towards foster care, it's run by deviants from the top down
