Omaha may be next to explode after city refuses to charge business owner who killed rioter

In short, a mob surrounded a man defending his downtown bar over the weekend. He fired warning shots, was attacked and put in a chokehold, then consequently shot and killed his attacker. The twitter mob instantly descends, claiming he yelled "N**ger Lovers" to provoke the crowd. There is video evidence that exists plus witness statements that state this is simply untrue.
I occasionally walk to my workplace downtown because it's only 10-15 minutes. Today, that was faster than me driving because almost every artery into downtown is blocked off. I live in a loft above a few downtown shops that have been boarded up and closing at 5 pm for 4 days now. The noise and destruction is nonstop every night. Tomorrow we are going to stay at a friends house across town.
The rioting and looting is not defending George Floyds memory. Know who said that? George Floyds family..

Barrett's Barleycorn is the pseudo-official home for LSU fans in Omaha, site of the College World Series.
I say pseudo- instead of unofficial, because they've actively solicited LSU fans to come to that pub each time the Tigers go, and they welcome Tigers fans even when LSU doesn't make it. I think the owners even post on the Rant on occasion.
