Walters is a huge piece of shite. There aren't teachers trying to come here from woke states because we pay so little anyways. Oklahoma education is fricked and we will continue to leak talent from anyone who gets a good education anyways because there aren't that many jobs requiring educated folks.

I can appreciate the sentiment, the problem is that teachers coming from other liberal places like Austin, Omaha, hell even Tulsa are just as likely, to be just as woke if not more so...

Again there is no mass teacher rush of liberals here. We can't get Oklahomans to teach much less attract a liberal from states over to have their pay and benefits slashed.
We are however having Mexican immigrants come and act as teachers in Oklahoma.

To be honest, probably 75% of all teachers are liberal
