It’s basically 2 hours of work. What do you think a PI would charge to follow EWE, ask for an autograph, and send the pen to the OP? $2000? $10,0000. One billion dollars?

Maybe my three laughing gif's were a little much. It is as easy as you think. I've talked to 2 buddies that are PI's in the BR area. They both said to go to any of the fine restaurants he frequents and get the DNA.
BUT, they also said there's not any legitimate PI in the BR area that would take that case since it is Edwards. Nobody is gonna frick with Edwards even if he is old as dirt.
You're not talking about some random dude on the street. This is the former Gov of LA that could have won an election from jail if they had let him run against Blanco and Jindal.

I'd be embarrassed to be related to a complete piece of shite like Edwin Edwards. That man stole an incredibly bright future from Louisiana for his own selfish personal gain and made sure this state would stay a good 20-30 years behind the rest of the south.

Reading this thread makes me sad. OP, I don't know if your mom and Edwards really hooked up or not. But even if she did there might have been other guys and she's just not telling you. To me, you don't look anything like him, other than a very vague resemblance, and when you were young you really didn't look like him.
You don't know where you came from and almost certainly never will, because of choices that your mom made long ago.
I think you should try to move on from this painful episode, and resolve to live your own life differently from how your mom, and the EWEs of the world lived it. I hope you are leading a good and fulfilling life. If you have a relationship, I hope you try to make it the best you can. If you have children, I hope you stay in their lives always and try to give them a good life and lots of love. You may always have lingering questions in your mind, but if you can do those things for your own family, you will have a great life. I hope you stop making a public display of yourself over this. Not because it says anything bad about you as a person, but because it suggests you are a person with a lot of hurt. That makes me feel sad for you.
I truly hope you can move past this and pour your energy into creating your own, great life. That will be the best use of your time.
