Would be a lot of records. It would be interesting just to see how the stats fell re time of public service as it related to income.

I would guess +60% of Swamp politicians would face criminal charges if their taxes and financial records were pored over by a competent tax/financial auditor

My understanding is that IRS Code Section 6103(f) also grants the President the authority to request tax records and returns, under certain conditions. I really think Trump will do this at some point.

I don't understand why patriots on both sides of the aisle don't demand this kind of transparency.

Crazy Aunt Maxine would have to save EVERY CENT of her House salary for 129 years to reach her current net worth.

'Career Politician' should never be an option.

Sadly, the laws they broke don't apply to them. Until a few years ago members of Congress were exempt from insider trading laws.

Pelousy routinely manipulated the House voting calendar to benefit her husband's stock trades. Hastert bought land in the middle of nowhere, earmarked a federal highway to run past it, and sold it for a massive profit.

Somebody published a book in 2011 on all the scams they ran. You or I would be under the jail for that kind of stuff.

A lot of politicians seem to get "lucky" betting on cattle futures

Bingo.

This is why you are seeing some Rs turn on Trump as well. They are all in on it.

These people have been robbing producers blind for years while fixing nothing. In many cases, it has been decades.

Yet the guy who was never in politics and was elected three years ago is supposed to be the cause of all of this.

You HAVE to be stupid to believe these people.
