The company I work for has consultants working near Cotulla, just north of Laredo. They were kicked out of their hotel rooms recently so the government could put illegals in the rooms. The consultants were paying $50/night. The government is paying $150/night. I wonder how much corruption is going on in all of these expenditures required because of the illegal surge at the border. Our people see chases and bail outs of illegals in vehicles daily. There is so much wrong with all of this.

I remember in early 2014 when oil was still $80bbls paying $350-$500 a night for rooms in Cotulla. In the decline I paid $150.

Biden's America: Where illegal aliens have more consideration than citizens working in the energy sector.

Who is surprised?

Why leave? If I were a company executive, I would spend the money to hire some people to stay in the rooms while workers are out during the day. Do Not Disturb, indefinitely.

Do you mind sharing which hotel? I head to Cotulla once a month for work. I generally stay at the Holiday Inn Express.

I was thinking this morning on the way to work. It might be good to have all these illegals in the country when our doofus of a government gets us in to a war.

We need cannon fodder.

Our guys got kicked out of the Comfort Inn but they are saying the government has all of those new hotels in Cotulla full of illegals right now.

A coworker who lives in the area told me the same kind of story a while back.

He has a buddy who lives very close to the border. He said that the Border Patrol’s policy is to chase vehicles on roads but break off the chase if the vehicle goes off road. As a result, he has had three vehicles drive through his fencing and the illegals drive hard on the rough terrain until the truck dies. They ditch the truck where it died and continue on foot.

His buddy keeps a supply of food and water outside near his house. He says it’s necessary to help stop the illegals from coming into the house looking for food and water.
