That’s clearly not the case now. It would be wrong to say “all middle east oil export routes are controlled by America”, but that would be less wrong than what you wrote.

Within a year or lil more, none of this will matter. Venezuela will be opening up and ME countries are building pipelines to bypass the importance of the Strait of Hormuz.

If not because they are hidden so deeply indicates that they want to turn up with a nuke some day and then rule the roost in the Middle East. Sooner or later the US and Israel will have to deal with it. I hope we are clever enough.
