And the obama administration spied on an opposing political campaign.

FBI followed up on a campaign that hired a man who illegally took money from a foreign government and another who worked for free while randomly getting $15m from Ukrainians.
The necessary warrants were obtained using mutliple corroborating sources (George P, Dossier, public pictures of Flynn dining with Putin).
But hey, you keep riding that Obamagate like it's the last piece of arse in a thousand miles.

I'm reading all of the testimony now (from start to finish). Another guy popped up in the testimony that Simpson admitted working with. He is a Russian named Akhmetshin. Anyway, this is the same guy who met with Trump at Trump Tower and got the MSM all in a tizzy about Muh Russia last year.
Turns out he was a Fusion plant just like Veselnitskaya. Not only that but one of Akhmetshin's closest colleagues (Ed Leiberman) was married to a Clinton staffer.
These guys are so busted. Sad!

I read the whole thing. Simpson clearly said that he and Akhmenshtin and Leiberman had been working together. I mean go read the fricking testimony. For example, this:
quote:
Q: When did you first meet Mr. Akhmetshin?
A. When I was a reporter at the Wall Street Journal. [note, this was 10 years ago]
Q. Have you ever worked with Mr. Akhmetshin?
A. I've been -- in the Prevezon case I interacted with him. I think -- again, this has unhelpfully been distorted by William Browder into some sort of economic relationship or conspiracy or something. I don't have any economic relations with him. You know, I've bumped into him over the years around town. So, you know, the only thing that I specifically recall having done with him was interacting for a brief period on the Prevezon case.
Q. You don't recall working with him for any other clients or cases?
A. Let's be clear, I'm sure we did not do business together, but I do work on areas of the world where he's from, Central Asia, former Soviet Union, and he is, as I'm sure you've seen, a guy around town who knows lots of people who cover this stuff. I met him in connection with some stories I was doing on Kazakhstan at the Wall Street Journal. That's the kind of context I've bumped into him over the years. He's told me various things and I think I even met one of his clients at one point,
The above is like a parent asking their stoned kid if they've been hanging around those stoners next door. Well, gee, mom, you know I might have interacted with them for a brief time, you know, but like I am not really friends with them or nothing. Everyone around the neighborhood has bumped into them at some point, you know mom. I wouldn't really call us "friends" you know.
Simpson sure did "bump into" this "man about town" quite a lot, don't you think? I am sure it's a coincidence that both Akhmenshtin and the Russian lawyer (who Simpson also admits to "interacting with") tried to setup meetings with Trump. Pure coincidence, I say!

Lol, this was known months ago.
Here's a "Fake News" CNN story discussing it from early November.
Fusion GPS is a prominent research firm that had many clients. But I'm sure that this months old "revelation" that only proves how ignorant you are of the facts surrounding the matter will be Trump's saving grace.
