End the pearl clutching, and understand what the President is trying to do.
Trump doesn’t send pallets of cash, he sends American strength.
You may not like his style, because it’s unorthodox, and unlike any other American President, but that’s exactly why he got re-elected.

It seems to me by taking out roads and rail they can isolate Tehran. And then perhaps we make it go dark tonight and make the call to citizens that the time has arrived. If they could take over Tehran then thats the key piece and the rest would fall. They could get control of internet and news and get word out to rest of country.
Thats how I’m seeing it play out. Their citizens will have to do the ground work. We’re setting the table for them by taking out ability for IRG to send reinforcements or travel. I would imagine somehow we’ve gotten some weapons stashed in key spots.

The MC-130s were used because they can carry the little birds while also acting as a forward refuel point for not only the little birds but any ground equipment they may have had as well.
The main landing gear tires are massive, biggest in the Air Force, but the nose landing gear tires are much smaller. That is likely what got stuck, potentially while maneuvering on the ground to get in position to take off.
I'm sure they didn't have maintenance crews with them so there was only so much they could do. At that point, it's an easy decision between losing an aircraft vs losing an entire team of people plus air crew.
If my memory serves, back in 1984 Reagan visited Tuscaloosa. They landed AF1 (smaller version back then I think) at our small local airport. The front landing gear sunk into the pavement while his visit was happening. They somehow jacked it up and put some type of wooden mats under it to keep it from happening again.
Heavy planes will sink if the foundation is insufficient.

This must be President Trumps message to the Iranian people. Time to rise up!
quote:
“A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will.
We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World.
However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS?”

I'm aware thanks.

The Iraqi Kurds may well have taken the weapons to use in Iraq
I may have misread it, but pretty certain the rag said "iraqi Kurds" not Iranian. So which is it?

Having the regime place women and children around the power plants and bridges is really a good thing for the rebels. It removes stupid noncombatants from the towns where the fighting will be open season. Keeps down the unnecessary killing.
