Im reading that Iranian oil will be leveraged for rare earth minerals/metals.
It is too early for this to be on the table.
But it logically makes sense.

It's quite possible. But we still have some absolute morons insisting that this war is all about Israel and Iran, and the US simply got dragged into this by "The Jews". But, I'm probably stereotyping when I call those folks morons. Some of them are probably paid provocateurs preying (accidental alliteration) on weak minds.

Trump would do this, but, if he isn't followed by the next MAGA POTUS, then the USA will not do this, IMHO.

Yeah this was the second strike of the war for Taiwan to be honest.
Venezuela was first.
China planned to use Iran as a second front and leverage on the markets to split the US Navy when they pushed across to Taiwan. Now they're going to have to beg us so they don't have to deplete the strategic reserves they stockpiled to be able to absorb us shutting Iran off. So they either go right now, which they can't, or they've lost Taiwan.

I think that is correct.
Based on tides and weather patterns, they have about a 60 day window for a land invasion. And it is Feb-Mar every year.
The target date was 2027. That was in the speeches and directives to MIC.
But the guess is that they would most likely try 2028 as it is an election year and politicians would be too chicken shite to involve in the conflict with troops.

And now Japan is going to rise as an offensive power in the East.
China has fricked up bigtime. Because when you see the board from high up like this, you realize they actually fired the first shot with Covid 19 to derail him so he couldn't pull this off. They knew this was a possibility.

They have been building up more than our european "allies" despite the constitutional restraints we put on them after WW2. They dont really have much offensive firepower though

Trump took the leash off of them. They're building it now. All of it.

Bill O’Reilly draws a direct parallel between the final days of Nazi Germany and the current situation in Iran, explaining why the Iranian people may not have risen up against the regime.
O’REILLY: “So in the U.S. government and Israel were hopeful that the people would rise up in conjunction with the military destruction.”
“And that has not happened.”
“That has meant that the Pentagon has to basically redefine what a victory is. So regime change is starting to recede in the background.”
“Now, this is not unusual.”
“Students of history and people who’ve read my book Killing Patton know that in 1945 even though Germans were getting pummeled, okay, they would not turn on Hitler.”
“They would not rise against him. Even in Berlin.”
“And the reason was that SS shot them dead if there was any sign of rebellion.”
“And we saw that when the Persians tried to demonstrate against the mullahs, 30,000 — and we’ve confirmed that figure — Iranians were killed by their own countrymen.”
“So people are frightened. They’re scared to death, and I use that phrase literally, to rise up.”
“It’s not likely that that will happen. So therefore, the definition of victory in Iran for the U.S. and Israel is to destroy every bit — and I mean that literally — of military infrastructure.”
“Down to pistols if they can do it.”
“Just wipe that out, so they have no chance to ever be on the offense again.”

The Italian Navy frigate ITS Federico Martinengo and the Spanish Navy frigate ESPS Cristóbal Colón have joined a growing European carrier strike group in the Eastern Mediterranean, led by the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle.
The United Kingdom’s HMS Dragon is expected to arrive near Cyprus next week.
France, the United Kingdom, and other NATO allies are repositioning forces in the Eastern Mediterranean and could soon begin moving toward the Gulf of Oman, where a joint naval task force may assemble to begin tanker escort operations.

The Strait is OPEN.
Might want to get a second opinion on that one, bucko.
Iranians have begun to mine it.
About 300 tankers are anchored on either side and not going anywhere.
As for this thing ending, it ain't over till Netanyahu says it's over.
Even if it ended tonite, the supply chain has been disrupted. While the price of a barrel of oil which spiked has retreated it is still higher than the pre-war price.
Another commodity I don't see any of you talking about is fertilizer which the U.S. does import . . a lot and that supply has been disrupted. If I have to spell it out for you, fertilizer is used by American farmers, the same people who grow a lot of our food.
Finally, if you don't pull up to the diesel pump when you buy fuel for your car you might not have noticed that in this country the price a gallon of diesel is up about a dollar/gallon from pre-war prices.
Now that foreamentioned food? It gets delivered to the stores by trucks that use diesel.
Between the increased cost of fertilizer and diesel fuel expect to see grocery prices start to rise.
