Whether the stock pile of Patriots is running low or not the US is lacking in drone defense technology. Using million dollar missiles to shoot done thousand dollar drones is never going to be a long term solution. We have relied on the Patriot for too long to me the all around air defense system. Would probably be better off breaking out some WW2 era quad 50s for use against drones instead of Patriots lol.

Unbeliveably, this is NOT off the top of my head:
It takes more than two years to manufacture a single Patriot missile interceptor, with the most advanced PAC-3 MSE model requiring 24 months from the start of the supply chain to final assembly.
The extended production timeline is driven by several critical factors:
Complex Supply Chain: Manufacturing relies on a network of more than 400 companies, creating significant logistical bottlenecks and qualification delays for new components.
Specific Component Delays: The solid rocket motor requires a full 30 months to produce due to lengthy curing times, while the critical radar seeker is manufactured exclusively at a single Boeing facility.
Current Production Rates: Lockheed Martin is currently ramping up capacity to reach 2,000 missiles per year by 2030, up from approximately 650 annually, but this target is not expected to be met for several years.
Cost: Each interceptor costs approximately $4 million to $5 million, reflecting the high-tech nature of the guidance systems and materials used.

They better fricking ramp that up to 2,000 a day and $2,000 a missile.

The US military has 15-20 of different power levels that are either combat fielded or operational prototype. The Navy has the Helios (60kw) , but I don't think they have but a couple. The Army has a few on Strykers (50kw De M-Shorad), and the Air Force and Army have a 10kw version, I think 4, called HELWS.
So we have them, just not nearly enough.
