Like everyone Scalise has political belief weak points but I agree. He killed that speech and I'm actually surprised he didn't lean more into the assassination attempt.

Is anyone else surprised that Vivek, DeSantis, and Haley aren't speaking in prime time tonight - when all of the broadcast networks will be showing the convention - and instead having "every day Americans"?

I do hope at some point that someone runs off a list or, even better, brings out all the GOP politicians who have been victims of political violence over the last decade and let that visual stand.

9 - 10 CST. That is the only time I've seen that ABC, CBS, and NBC will be airing it without interruption. Same as the cable networks. The cable networks play speeches throughout but 9 - 10 CST is uninterrupted.

Right now CBS is airing America's Got Talent, CBS is playing some FBI dramas, ABC has Celebrity Family Feud and then "Judge Steve Harvey".
In the past right now this would be primetime and these speeches would be being aired on those stations but for whatever reason they are only airing 1 single hour each night, from 9 - 10 CST.
