You've underestimated the amount of people on the left that have become indoctrinated with "don't care who, as long as they're blue". Couple that with exteme TDS, and 4th wave feminism and you've got millions of votes regardless of candidate.
Exactly this. It’s not hard to understand this wave of support that simply wasn’t there for her before. The left wanted someone, anyone, to rally behind that wasn’t near death.

I'll push back on this.
Yeah, there's about 30% of the electorate that's whackjob Left or has their head in the sand about the Dem base being whackjob Left.
And in the Center and Right, TDS is a real thing but I think it's way overplayed. Two data points -
Arizona (my home state), which is all over the news about Trump-hating Republicans to the point many consider AZ a purple state. He's getting 95% of the Republican vote here, which is in line with how Republican candidates do in their own party.
This board is another example. Six months ago there was a large contingent of Trump supporters that would have bet their lives that DeSantis supporters would never vote for Trump. It was weird, but it was emotional and consistent. There's even a few holdouts that simply cannot believe a "bot" will vote for Trump. Reality/logic dictates that anybody critical of Trump for not being conservative enough would crawl across broken glass to vote Trump over f'n Kamala Harris.
So the TDS outside of the Left is overestimated.
The numbers just don't stack up well for Kamala Harris. We're talking about the candidate that came in 14th place in the 2020 Dem primary, and 3 months ago was so disregarded there was talk about replacing her on the Biden ticket. She's not a serious candidate.
I really do think Trump wins comfortably.

Mickey, polls and open ears/eyes say the two biggest issues are the economy and the border/immigration.
1. Do you think a majority of Americans are for an open border or for taking control of the border/stopping illegal immigration?
2. Do you think a majority of Americans would vote Biden economic policies up or down?

Has she said anything of substance tonight? Other than saying she is going to make this country the best ever without explaining how? Frick her and utopian promises.
Tell me what you are going to do, but importantly, tell me HOW, you are going to do it.

The only thing heard of substance was a middle class tax cut. Nothing about how or how much.

I didn't watch, but if she said anything of substance it would have been the first time. She's running on fake "joy" and fake "threat to our freedoms!" - like I said, she's not a serious person/candidate.

I truly abhor lying politicians. How can anyone fall for the crap that is spewed from her mouth. Not a single thing about “how” we will fix our problems. Cameltoe is running only on Trump bad, we good. All these empty promises gets under my skin. She’s in office now and has the ability to do what she says yet doesn’t. That should tell people all they need to know. How can people not see that for what it is?
Anyway, I sure hope that Trump wins because if this idiot becomes our president, we are in a world of hurt. Imagine the only thing she was put in charge of, the border, and the cluster that is…now imagine she is in charge of everything…we the people will suffer greatly. Our Nation will no longer be anything to be proud of. It’s almost there after this current stint.

Here will be the rub or switcheroo, no cut on current rates, but the poltispeak of continuing the Trump tax cuts which she railed against when proposed.

I will disagree. I think it is at least 40 percent or higher. Much like their congressmen/women - they are lock step
The republican problem is some of the 40 percent hate trump so much they would rather vote against him than the party and the better principles
I find convincing any democrat to not vote for her to be a hard sell. Hillary was that hated.

Neither was Barrack Obama and he served two terms and is still perhaps the most powerful public person in that party.
We are increasingly not a serious country and those pulling the strings are well aware of it. In 2020 they elected a dementia patient who hid nearly his entire campaign. Don't underestimate the stupidity (or corruption) of modern America.

I think Mickey is employed by the state. It would explain that as well as a lot of other things.

Well, you need to start with the fact that the electorate is only about a third Democrat.
Moreover, I know it doesn't seem like it but there are some Dems that are not down with the open border, recognize the Left's assault on freedom of speech, and don't agree that men can have babies.
An interesting question: are there more Republicans with legit TDS than there are Dems opposed to open borders/free speech/believe men can't have babies?

Depends on what you mean here. Yeah, I agree that it's a hard sell to convince any Dem to vote Trump instead of Kamala, but less hard is the notion that they'd not bother voting. Trump gets the Left's vote out, no doubt - but I wonder if we'll see a little wind come of this sail with an utter retard that's also a whackjob Leftist heading the Dem ticket.

I don't remember it that way. I remember BO being pretty compelling on the stump, being able to articulate positions and not giving off general "I'm a f'n retard" vibes.
Politically, Obama was holy hell for America, but there's no comparison between his general aptitude and political skills and those of Kamala f'n Harris.

She/her/them/IT is "in charge" now, right? It damn sure isn't Biden.
Who is in charge of this, right now?
