Trump started the summer with nearly $54 million for his re-election and his party

quote:

WASHINGTON — President Trump started the summer with nearly $53.6 million stockpiled in bank accounts of his campaign committee and two affiliated fundraising operations. The big cash reserves come as he and his party look to November's tough midterm races for Congress and plan for his re-election.

quote:

Trump's campaign committee and the two joint fundraising groups he runs with the Republican National Committee together brought in $17.7 million during the April-to-June fundraising quarter, according to reports filed Sunday with the Federal Election Commission. That's a slight dip from the $20.2 million the three operations collected during the first three months of the year, but Trump's pace is far ahead of his predecessors. Then-President Barack Obama, for example, waited until the third year of his presidency to begin campaigning and fundraising in earnest. In all, the three Trump-aligned committees have raised nearly $90 million since Trump took office, although his election is still more than two years away.

That's yet another of the reason incumbents have a built in advantage for reelection.

They have a 4 year head start on fund raising and also don't have a primary challenge to spend money on.

Meanwhile the DNC is in a total civil war over ideology and also in debt.

Sucks for them.

By 2020, he'll have enough to buy out Evan Williams and have a controlling stake in Twitter.

Well, we'll see what Flake and Kasich have to say about that.

That's exactly what I was thinking also.

He doesn't need that much money for his re-election campaign. The dumbass media do most of his campaigning for him by being the fake media.

It's fricking genius!

I would have thought Putin would have waited until after the Summit to contribute.

Let me rephrase: on what issues do you consider yourself more a conservative than liberal?

Yes it is.

And the same people will be fooled into believing it was all done by accident, as if the establishment is that stupid.

Definitely not the "Collusion" one.

It's fricking hilarious to hear you accuse you others of "swallowing conspiracies".
