Right you are. However, the betting represents the collective wisdom of a large number of people. That's why, over time, most teams tend to have close to a 50-50 record against the spread.

You really believe this in the context of these markets? A lot of these people aren't betting their own money. The campaigns and their ancillary organizations have tons of cash to spend. These bets are a drop in the bucket. People need to stop equating these to sports betting.
It is a transparent effort at voter suppression.
