Government has become god and politicians have become priests in America: and they’re slowly but steadily and successfully radicalizing and spreading their new prosperity religion.

This is quite literally the exact opposite of the foundation of Christianity.
We cannot save ourselves, we are saved by God through Christ’s death and resurrection.
