October trade data in: biggest monthly trade deficit in over 10 years

Exports decreased & imports increased over September.
Year to date, trade deficit is up 11.4% over this time last year.

But what about China, one might ask? We have data on a goods basis for that as well. October deficit up 2% over September's. Year to date, that bilateral goods deficit is up a little over 11%. LINK

i'm just sharing some update on how it's going since our foray into trade skirmishes
there were some pretty strong predictions for october that will apparently shock a few posters here, after all
