Cliff Notes:

Unemployment is at 4.7% over less than half of when he took office.

75Th month of job growth

Higher wages

Created more jobs than the Bushes just behind Reagan overall, but During the 75 month run he's add 33,000 more jobs per month than Reagan on average. That's after taking over the Bush caused recession.

Improved income for part time workers

There were some down sides:

Less participation at 62%. Probably due to all the boomers retiring or dying.

Manufacturing jobs declined again as it has the last few decades.

A moderately successful POTUS. Given all the adversity he's had to over come dealing with Republicans who'd rather see America fail under him than do what's in the citizens best interests. Obama has been as successful if not more than another POTUS than Clinton in the modern era.

This statement proves how utterly stupid you are.

If a person dies he is no longer considered as "being eligible to work but no longer seeking employment."

Do you seriously believe dead people are counted as being eligible to work?

I know in your world they are eligible to vote...but to work?!

Unreal.

The word obtuse comes to mind. I just wonder if it is deliberate or hereditary in your case.

Created more part time jobs after people lost their full time jobs, then were taken off the rolls so the numbers didn't show how bad he was doing.

The last 8 years have been one lie after another, and your crowd took it, hook, line and sinker. Then regurgitated that bullshite to people who lost jobs, had hours cut, or can't even save anymore.
You're a special breed of stupid.

Is it just me or does this piss us off more than the BS stats that TJGator1215 believes. We are not friends of the Bush family and we could give a frick less what they did or didnt accomplish. The Bush family is the Obama family which is the Clinton family. Now go take some red pills and get on the train.

We haven't heard the media use the term "McJobs" in 8 years. I expect that they will suddenly start using it again in February.

Adversity be damned....considering how close we were to complete economic collapse in 2008 everyone in Washington has done yoeman's work. Could there have been more done? Yes, but they did it within the confines of United States politics, the envy of the world.

Obama has had some success and has been a dismal failure in some areas. Thinking he could simply ask for common ground with the right instead of taking steps to ensure they came along was a huge mistake born out of a lack of experience in politics. This was evident even in the 2016 election when he decided to stay out of the "Russia is involved" thing so as not to be labled as an intereferer in the process...a huge mistake that is going to cost him his legacy in toto....

Considering where we started in 2008 Obama has not done a terrible job....I doubt that McCain or Romney either one would have done a worse job or a better job....

One thing is for certain though...and this is Obama's to own, period. McCain nor Romney would have done a better job and they wouldn't have done a worse job....but Trump categorically would not be the president IF Obama had not been elected....or more to the point re-elected....not a chance in hell....and Obama and those of us who supported him have to own that....our electing a president who was moderately successful over an 8 year period but who was not the ideal candidate for a small portion of America lead to the election of Donald Trump to a revered office....
