I bet Michael, sorry...Michelle, tries to beat the "white half" of Obama out of him. And he/she needs to stop manhandling him by the ears...they're beginnning to look like Direct Tv satellite dishes.

If someone would take the Logan Act seriously when *ahem* "gentlemen" like Kerry and Obama try to do end runs around the sitting President and Secretary of State, then maybe it would stop.

clinton was the first ex president who was youngish when he left office and he was the first to suggest that ex president should have some continuing role in government. he learned from bitter personal experience that there is no person as irrelevant as an ex president of the united states.

when harry truman left office he was so broke that he had to move in with his mother in law. that's why we give them a pension it was an embarrassment that we had a destitute ex president.

I didn’t think he’d get prosecuted for optics reasons but his refusal to exit the stage while blatantly undermining US foreign policy means I was probably wrong and he needs to be made an example of judicially so that future opposition leaders don’t follow his example.
