So how is someone supposed to vote? Cool black guy vs. uncool
White guy?

Campaign promises have always been and will always be politicians trying to get elected. The realities of governing do not equate to blindly fulfilling promises made in an election. My opinion is to vote as to what you believe the candidates stand on issues you care about. Or tell them both to f' off and vote Libertarian or something else as a protest vote.

Yea, McCain and Romney were extreme right wingers.

I always liked McClain that dumbass Palindrome being a heart attack from president, scary. Let's face it Romney was traditionally a moderate but had to run right to win nomination. After the slacking the Republicans took in 2008 and 2012 you would think they would move to the center. Instead they are doubling down on clowns like Cruz.

You may be a Union guy, but, you sure aren't a Teamster, like I was.

This is true...while the Teamsters were originally an AFL union their policies and membership are more akin to CIO unions. I sincerely think the AFL model of unionism is good for business while I think just the opposite is true of the CIO model.....almost all of th ebad things people see in organized labor is a tenet of CIO unions and for the most part unheard of or outright illegal in AFL Unions....

Yep, the results are shitty from our perspective but overall they are making "progress" so they are pleased with themselves.

Even though you are not a Teamster, I can see that you are a true Union Man.

Here's a little-known gem of a film about Union struggles that you would find inspiring. You won't regret seeing it.

The film is called "Matewan", and it's about coal miners in West Virginia during the early union-organizing days.

And yet you don't seem concerned about the extreme left-wing slant of the Dems.

Why does NO ONE ever refer to Dems as extreme left-wingers, when, in fact, that is exactly what they are?

Obama - extreme left-winger
Reid - extreme left-winger
Pelosi - extreme left-winger

They are the leadership, and, sadly, there are a lot of Dems even more extremely left-wing than them.

There are more important things, like a missing airliner, to worry about. Who cares if the Rooskies are trying to rebuild their empire and our president wears mom jeans. Move on...

Could you imagine the reaction if a slice of the white population elected 40+ representatives as demonstrably nuts and/or corrupt, without exception, as the congressional black caucus?
