Polling must show that unfettered, illegal, immigration is not a winning issue for Democrats and that people of all political stripes are concerned about this.

If Trump fails (Spoiler Alert: He won't), it won't be because of lack of support from left-wing loons. Nobody expects them to support him. Trump can only fail if "middle-of-the-road" idiots like you, Roger, HHTM, etc., who sway like the wind, continue to stab him in the back and fail to realize that Trump 1) has almost no help inside the beltway, and 2) that Trump is our only shot at taking our government back from the Deep State & other anti-American forces who want 5o destroy our country.

True. Obama had 8 years to fix the problem of illegal immigration. And unlike Trump, Obama would've had the support of BOTH Democrats and Republicans. These are just more empty words from that anti-American POS named Barack Hussein Obama.
But, there are still some here who think BHO was a "well-meaning dude" who simply didn't do a very good job as President. God help us all.

Sometimes the realities of governing, make the fantasies of campaigning, unrealistic.
Take Guantanamo Bay. Candidate Obama couldn't stop talking about how one of the first things he was going to do was "shut it down". But he never did. Why? Because when he actually got in office, and he saw that as bad as that place was, there were no better options, he decided to stick with it.
I think immigration is much the same. It's one thing for candidates to rant and rave. But I think Obama knows the real issues involved, and knows that just giving illegals carte blanche to do anything they want and never follow any rule of law, is a really bad idea.

I'm glad he came out and said something. Remember there was a crisis at the border before Trump said there was a crisis at the border, but this crisis miraculously vanished when Trump said there was a crisis at the border.
