Apparently he was about this one. Sorry you don't like it, but you'll just have to deal with the fact that you are wrong yet again.

It’s amazing they’re allowed to vote for president and don’t even know that the president gets briefed daily of threats.

Determining which threats are credible or not isn't something that is easy

And we're still just relying on the word of Trump here which is pretty much worthless

I know that

a. That's not what Trump said

b. They aren't briefed on EVERY potential threat a government agency gets information about. There wouldn't be enough time in the day for the POTUS to get that much information.

Known terrositc threats, yes. The guy did it while screaming Allahu Akbar. If he was using government email communicating they absolutely knew.

Do we know if Hasan reached this level prior to his terrorist plot unfolding?

People will start taking your opinions of other people's credibility seriously once you can establish that 1) you can actually read, and 2) that when there is a 22 second long video accompanying a thread (since you cannot read) you will at least LISTEN to what is said before you jump into the thread to shill against a topic. Until then, your credibility is at zero.

The most likely scenario here is Trump is just making things up as usual

So I guess you have no evidence to support your claim?

He is commenting on the video which implies that he watched it

Do you get some enjoyment out of being the dumbest punching bag on the forum? Because you make it too easy.

Yes. Major Nidal Malik Hasan (the U.S. Army psychiatrist who carried out the November 5, 2009, Fort Hood shooting that killed 13 people and wounded dozens) exchanged multiple emails with Anwar al-Awlaki, a known radical Islamist cleric and al-Qaeda propagandist/recruiter, in the months beforehand. longwarjournal.org
Hasan initiated contact on December 17, 2008. He sent roughly 18 emails through about June 2009; al-Awlaki replied to at least two of them. The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force in San Diego (already monitoring al-Awlaki due to his terrorist ties, including associations with 9/11 hijackers) intercepted the messages. They were reviewed but assessed at the time as largely “benign” or consistent with Hasan’s psychiatric research, so he was not interviewed or further investigated by the military. web.archive.org
Key topics in Hasan’s emails included:
• Whether Muslims serving in the U.S. military could be considered mujahideen or martyrs if they attacked fellow soldiers (he specifically referenced Hasan Akbar, the Muslim soldier who killed two officers in a 2003 grenade attack in Kuwait).
• Justifications for suicide bombings and the permissibility of killing civilians/collateral damage while targeting enemy soldiers.
• Discussions of transferring money (in amounts under reporting thresholds) and seeking a wife recommendation from al-Awlaki. reuters.com
Al-Awlaki was a U.S.-born cleric who had preached in Virginia and San Diego mosques attended by some 9/11 hijackers. By the time of the emails he was based in Yemen, openly supporting al-Qaeda, and later designated a high-value target (he was killed in a U.S. drone strike in 2011). After the Fort Hood attack, al-Awlaki publicly praised Hasan as a “hero.” The emails themselves did not contain an explicit plot or operational orders, but they demonstrated Hasan seeking religious justification for violence against U.S. soldiers while corresponding with a known terrorist figure. longwarjournal.org
This communication was confirmed in the 2012 Webster Commission report (which criticized the FBI’s handling), contemporaneous news reporting from outlets including the Washington Post, Reuters, and others, and the eventual public release of the email texts. No evidence indicates direct operational control by al-Awlaki over the attack itself.

What claim? Is this the part where you start putting words into people's mouths again so you can try to win arguments on the internet like a child would do?

Based on this statement, it would be a hell of an assumption to think that this definitely made it into a presidential briefing. And are you going to throw Bush under the bus here as well?

So it never came close to the daily brief, and there is no rational reason to think Obama would know anything about it.

This is why evidence is important

Full transcript of his court martial isn’t available so we don’t have access to all of the evidence and information.

Why would Obama ever be briefed on an incident the FBI didn't fully investigate because they dismissed the threat...that happened during the Bush admin?
