Discussing findings by YALE School of Public health, by scientists/experts:

Check the dates. Would this mean DiBlasio was cheerleading the spread while he shouldn't have been?

Makes sense. The people who run that city are responsible for a lot of the societal problems in this country

These people have white lab coats

game set match, that is it.

When I think of all the shite done to Texas (i.e. my state), when its major affliction is being in the same country as NYC so their stats are lumped together, I get pissed off.

Probably not that big of a leap of logic. NYC is one of, if not the biggest entry point of international travel into the US. Combine that with the density of the population there, and you have the perfect meeting point for a virus to spread rapidly.

During crucial weeks in March, New York’s political leaders waited to take aggressive action, even after identifying hundreds of cases, giving the virus a head start.

And by mid-March, when President Trump restricted travel from Europe, the restrictions were essentially pointless, the data suggest, as the disease was already spreading widely within the United States.

Acting earlier would most likely have blunted the virus’s march across the country, researchers say.

But it's still Trump's fault, you see.

Anyway, I archived the link because that headline will last approximately 20 more minutes before it is changed to "NY Leaders were duped by Trump's Lies Causing them to Delay Aggressive Actions"

Somebody look at some numbers. NY, NJ, CT, MA. What is this virus if these states weren't a shite show? Compare to California using deaths per 1 million in population. I realize population density is a huge factor.

But what REALLY would have happened if the appropriate interstate travel were sealed off and other states were less conservative? What REALLY would have happened? This disease is deadly, but something short of OVERALL shutdown would have made it manageable.

It's not that the lives lost in the above states don't matter. It's about strategy and the tool fitting the problem.

Fear, panic, and emotion winning again.

They'll sacrifice Diblasio. He's hated by all. Cuomo is their cherished one, yet he's pushed edicts that have been the most harmful:

"Killing them softly with his laws
He's killing them softly, with his laws
The media loves him, they're his baws
killing them softly with his laws, with his laws"

So the exact same response has Obama's Administration for H1N1.

Up to this moment 55.7% of the deaths belong to those 4 states. Drop CT, and the other three carry 52.1% of the deaths.
