Wow. We need more people everywhere challenging the mindless authoritarian bureaucrats like this guy is doing. Too many of us just “go along to get along” while the government is daily chipping away at our freedom.

Some sanity in this bizarro clown world! Sergeant was a boss and gave zero fux about a mask.

They continued to say it was the policy simply because a sign they printed said so. What if the sign said,” no one allowed in the building unless you are over 6 ft tall?”
Would that be ok?

Kudos to this guy. Government buildings are public property. After all, the public pays for them. It’s amazing how much contempt government employees show towards the people that pay the salary for their largely useless jobs.

you people are overhyping that sergeant. first of all, a sergeant is hardly a boss; it's a lowly ranked position.

Senior NCO's are the backbone of all fighting forces since before Roman times.

Sergeant isn't that high up in Police hierarchy.

It goes Officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, Assistant Chief, Chief, and if a large enough organization, Commissioner.

I don’t have a problem with how this went.

Everyone remained calm and respectful. I don’t expect policemen to be experts in Constitutional Law especially in matters that are complicated.

The police did what they should of which is call an Attorney that works for the City or State and got an answer.

Then the police politely enforced the law and made sure the citizen was allowed to enter and conduct business.

This is how Government is supposed to work.

It would be easy to write this off as frivolous, but I think it shows how almost every one is a sheep. And how they also live to boss others around mindlessly.

Sadly, you don't know what a boss is.

You left out a couple of ranks.

Look at this idiot

The standing joke when we got a new platoon leader was:

What is the difference between a Private First Class and a 2nd Lieutenant?

The PFC has at least been promoted twice.

The same thing with the covid restrictions. I’m sure some of these emergency authorizations were unconstitutional.

Most just went along with it. Mob rule is hard to challenge.
