Retired RN,I did not take the vax myself but I definitely think this nurse was wrong.It was these peoples choice to take the vaccine.If she felt that strongly that the vaccine was harmful she should have gotten another job.She did not have the right to make medical decisions for others.
This sort of thing should never happen in the medical world.What if a anti-vaxxer nurse works in ER and patient has injury and Tetanus Toxoid booster ordered but nurse gives saline injection because they don’t believe in vaccines.

What if Dr orders a dose of medicine,say 20 mg Lasix and nurse decides 30 mg would be better and gives it without Dr’s knowledge.

I did not trust the vaccine but I never tried to influence anyone one way or the other.I had people ask me why I wouldn’t take it,I explained my reasoning but emphasized it was their choice to make.
I also considered that I could be wrong and the vaccine would be safe and effective.

The nurse lied about what she was giving her patients.

It doesn’t matter what the treatment was, what it’s efficacy was, whether they were convinced by the media to take something that didn’t work, or anything else.

The lie is what matters. Medical professionals should not be lying to their patients. No one should support that.
