She should have visited the state before the election, but I guess her hands were tied.
Her campaign found out that she actually dropped in the polls slightly after visiting some mid west destinations. They were not sure what to do and they didn't want to alert Trump to a vulnerability....so they didn't campaign as hard there as they should have.
