They never did you stupid frick...hence the anti-establishment movement.
"movement"
It's an extreme minority population without much political power. That's the lesson.
The only way this is palatable is by going into Leftism like what Trump is doing, which just shows (1) there are no principles in the movement and (2) Leftism is the key to this fringe group winning elections.

Congrats on pointing out the wing of the party fighting against continued OVERspending
So Trump isn't part of this group?

It's a grass roots movement that didn't gain the power it probably deserved because the game changed and ballot harvesting is what is determining election results. Nevertheless, whatever the size of the movement, it's absolutely necessary...and that is evidenced by this issue.
Gaetz is on the right side of the issue.

I hate that we spent at the levels we did under Trump. I will point out that the spending wasn't the increase in size of Fed gov like what's happening under Biden. It was emergency stimulus money for COVID. It was a terrible, terrible decision. It did probably keep the economy from crashing in the short term. But, we are paying for that spending right now.
But, instead of learning from that lesson, the Republicans (minus the 71) just voted to give that level of spending to Democrats for the next 2 years with zero caps.
