If the only solution in your opinion is for Jesus Christ to Herald the End of Time by appearing for His Second Coming, then, in your opinion, there is no political solution and ALL talk of politics is irrelevant, useless and a waste of time.
We need a Religion Board, because that is where this thread belongs.
IMHO, the way that things will get fixed is for the MAGA Movement to gain enough momentum to evolve beyond Trump to the point where subsequent leadership of the movement can build enough power and influence to take over the Legislative and Judicial Branches.
Of course "nothing will get fixed" when the whole MAGA Movement consists of just one man who is POTUS. POTUS has limited powers and can only show the way. Trump is trying to be the leader of the movement and to urge the GOP to bring the movement forward.
It's up to the GOP to take the ball and run now. Trump has started the Movement, now it is time for the Movement to sustain itself.
I don't think the Movement will survive at all. Did the "Contract With America" movement sustain itself? No.
There are too many reasons why people in and around Wash DC want things to continue as they were under Clinton/Obama and Biden, and the many reasons are DOLLARS. These people are leeches who grow wealthy so long as the US Federal Government keeps growing and spending ever more money.
One Man Trump can't defeat that. He has shown us why we need to find a new way. He has adopted the GOP as his own. It's up to the GOP to carry the ball forward.
I've never seen the GOP to do anything constructive at all, so, we'll see how this goes.
We need a Religion Board, because that is where this thread belongs.

That’s assuming that 60 votes are there in the Senate to pass the legislation to get the bill to Trump’s desk. The senate will need 67 votes to overturn trump’s veto.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, republicans are feckless and riding out the Trump storm. The more important question is, does Trump recognize what is happening and does he have what it takes to go scorched earth to make his policies permanent and get the accountability for all of the lawbreaking by the political and bureaucratic elites?
