‘Not Doing The Border’Harris Appears to Ignore Biden to Address the border

Vice President Kamala Harris appears to be ignoring a recent request made by President Joe Biden on Wednesday in which he tapped her to lead the administration’s response to the ongoing immigration crisis at the U.S. – Mexico border.
During a press conference at the White House, Biden explained that he had “asked her,” to “lead our efforts,” in working alongside “the countries that need help stemming the movement of so many folks, stemming the migration to our southern border,” because she “is the most qualified person to do it.”
“The vice president is not doing the border,” Symone Sanders, the Senior Advisor and Chief Spokesperson for Harris reportedly explained to reporters during a flight to Connecticut on Friday.
“The president asked the vice president to take on the diplomatic effort, with Mexico and countries in the northern triangle to address the root causes of migration,” Sanders said, emphasizing that Harris’s role in addressing the root causes of migration from Latin American countries was more diplomatic. “There are many reasons that move these folks to make this dangerous journey.”

Just shows the contempt she really has for Joe Biden. I can't imagine another Vice-President that would openly flaunt an order from POTUS. So even she realizes he isn't POTUS. He is a figurehead for the communists and she has no intention of taking orders from a figurehead.

To be fair the only authority of the VP to do a single thing is the preside over the Senate and cast tie-breaking votes.
Other than that, she is merely a provisional President. "In case of fire break glass" sort of thing.

I think she is just trying to distance herself from the crisis at the border and the kids in cages by playing a word game. She is handling the border issue she just wants to paint it as meeting with foreign countries than actually working on immigration and the border. It's scummy but she's a politician who slept her way to her position so not surprising.

To be fair she’s flying solo on phone calls with other heads of state.
If you’re not going to hold that tyrannical Prostitute accountable for usurping authority she doesn’t have, at least hold her accountable for trying to pick and choose the international messes she will deign to become involved with. It's to her advantage not to do anything @ the border. It's Biden's crisis, not Biden/Harris crisis.

Can't really blame her for telling him to frick off on this though. It's a political loser one way or the other and they both know it. She saves face and looks "Brave" telling him to frick off and deal with it himself.

All Harris has to do is make one 5 min phone call to Mexico's president and announce tariffs coming he you don't stem the flow of illegals at your southern border. This is what a real leader would do.
